Phang Nga Bay

Phang Nga "Sea Canoe":

We will collect you from your hotel in Khao Lak at about 08:30 o’clock and drive south for about an hour by minibus, with your English-speaking guide, to a small pier in the mangroves. We continue the Tour on a traditional Thai Long Tail boat, winding our way through the majestic mangrove forests in Phang Nga Bay. We travel at our own pace to the famous island of Koh Tapu, or James Bond Island, and make time for a short photo opportunity. James Bond Island is the perfect example of Karst rock formations. We travel by local boat to a canoe station from where you can paddle with your guide for about 30-45 minutes, exploring the jewels of Phang Nga Bay, through the grottoes and caves. These mystical caves and grottoes are one of the reasons why UNESCO named the bay of Phang Nga a World Heritage Site. Afterwards we take the boat to the famous fishing village of Koh Panyi, which is built entirely on stilts in the sea. Here we will enjoy our delicious lunch before taking a tour through the 300-year-old village, and it is well worth a visit! When we get back to the mainland we visit a beautiful cave temple, where macaque monkeys are waiting for your rewards of bananas!

Phang Nga "Hong Island"

The Hong Island tour is completely dependent on the tides, and for this reason pick-up times vary considerably. The start time can be anything from 05:00 until around 10:30 o’clock your hotel. Firstly we travel by minibus, with our English-speaking tour guide, for about 1 hour to the pier in Phang Nga Bay. At the landing we board a traditional Thai long tail boat, taking our canoes on the boat with us. We motor to the finest and most interesting points in the Phang Nga Bay, where we put the canoes into the water. Our canoe guides lead you safely through the adventurous and mystical caves and grottoes. Koh Hong is one of the most beautiful islands in Phang Nga Bay and guards it’s secret well. There is only a 30minute slot each day when Koh Hong will allow you into her cave to see to magical lagoon. Once inside a pristine lagoon is revealed, fringed with sandy beach under steep limestone cliffs. Here it is as if time has stood still. Visiting Koh Hong is an adventure off the beaten track; it’s something that you should not miss when visiting Phang Nga. On this tour we visit Hong Island, of course, as well as James Bond Island, mangrove forests and the fishing village on stilts. All the highlights of Phang Nga Bay are united in this tour.
