Mysterious Golden Egg found on Sea floor

Deep Sea Explorers found something that looks like a golden egg at a depth of 3.2km (3,280 feet) at the bottom of the pacific ocean close to Alaska. Apparently it had a golden hue, but this was reflection from the ROVs headlights, and the sample brought to the surface is more like yellow-brownish. So far they dont know what it is, it is speculated that it is/was either an egg or a sponge.
