A pistols shrimp protective helmet

Pistol shrimp are really fascinating creatures, able to produce shockwaves under water that stun their prey and even turn water into steam. They are one of the loudest creatures in the ocean. Scientists are trying to find out how these shrimps are protected against their own shockwave. It looks like they have something resembling a helmet but with a little more finesse.
